Textile and Embroidery Collage: Sewing roll (4-day class)

Sunday 16 July (Prep Day):  9.30am – 3.00pm
Sunday 30 July (Day 1): 9.30am – 3.00pm
Sunday 6 August (Day 2):  9.30am – 3.00pm
Sunday 13 August (Day 3):  9.30am – 3.00pm

With visiting tutor Jennifer Clouston students will create their own canvas, choosing fabrics, and covering the textile collage technique. The fun begins with thread selection and the creation of the colour palette.

Using a variety of stitches and threads, all things floral will be created and designed. 

With no pattern to follow, it is hoped that a more organic approach will inspire your embroidery by taking the stitches that are known and loved and giving them a modern and unique twist. 

The construction of the sewing roll is undertaken entirely by hand.
