Goldwork – Burgundy Flowers

This 2-day class will be held on Saturday 17 July and Sunday 18 July, 2021.

This introductory goldwork project covers the basic techniques used in goldwork, how to apply the padding felt, stretch and couch Purl Purl, use Bright check and use couching thread in a needle.

Basic knowledge of embroidery stitches is necessary for this class.

Attendance on 17 July (Day 1) is essential in order to attend 18 July (Day 2).

Kit details
No kit is provided. Participants will receive a requirements list when they register. Goldwork instructions will be provided at a cost of $3, payable to the Tutor on the day of the class.

COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS
Please note that the restrictions and safety measures which have been put in place due to the COVID–19 restrictions will also be necessary during class sessions. Participants will need to follow social distancing and this will have some impact on the type of demonstrating and support the tutors will be giving. More information will be given to participants closer to the date of the class.

Government regulations and restrictions may force the cancellation or rescheduling of classes.  If this occurs, refunds will be arranged.
