DESCRIPTION:Elizabethan embroidery\, as we know it today\, is predominantly a decorative style of embroidery\, which employs the extravagant use of colour\, beads\, metallic threads and a variety of stiches. It is worked entirely on the fabric surface and is rich\, textural and exuberant. \nIn this class we will be stitching a flower.  Stitches covered will include detached buttonhole and how to keep it straight and even\, padding\, changing the colour of petals and heavy chain stem.  Time permitting\, how to stitch a leaf will be covered.Tutor\nAnna Lang \nClass Code\nAL 18/04 \nClass Cost\n$60 for members; $80 for non-members \nKit Cost \nThere is no kit provided for this class.  A list of class requirements will be forwarded to students upon enrolment. \n \nClass registration and enquiries\nBookings are essential\, with a booking cut-off date of April 11\, 2020.
