Children’s Holiday Class

This is a 2-day class from 9.30 am until 2.30 pm on Tuesday, 9th and Thursday, 11th July, 2019.  The embroidery is  inspired by traditional ethnic designs. Elizabethan Blackwork Sampler

This project, an amazing sampler of black and gold work, is inspired by an Elizabethan sleeve. It is worked on 36-count Antique White linen.  The size of the overall completed Blackwork design is 27cm x 22cm. The linen and silk thread will be available from the tutor.  If wished, the design can be enlarged, modified, or worked on linen using a different thread count. Deerfield Placemat

Using the lovely blue Deerfield colours, this traditional design will give you a taste for the simplicity, style and delights of Deerfield blue and white embroidery.  This project is a linen placemat but could be used for a bag or a cushion.  It is suitable for any level of stitching skill.
