Ukrainian Whitework Biscornu – Day 2

This is the 2nd day of the class started on Tuesday 3 March (Day 1) and will focus on a biscornu, which is designed to be an initial exploration of Ukrainian Whitework embroidery. It will encompass counted thread embroidery techniques from several regions of the Ukraine including flat stitch, pulled fabric stitches, such as round and buttonhole eyelets, and cut work known as myreshka. Attendance at Day 1 is essential in order to attend Day 2.
The finished size is approximately 11.5 cm x 11.5 cm and worked using white linen fabric with a count of 30 threads per inch (linen is supplied in the kit).
