School Holiday Classes
Young embroiderers can attend classes during the school holidays – 2 days in the 2nd week of the December/January, July and the September/October holidays and then 1 day in the 2nd week of the April holidays.
Projects are completed in that time and children enjoy their time spent with other children and experienced embroiderers who act as tutors. Lunch is supplied each day along with all materials and the cost is $55 for the two days ($35 if only attending 1 day) and $35 for the one day class in April.
If interested please contact the Guild by email on firstname.lastname@example.org, or you can contact the Children’s Classes Registrar – Hilary Crawfoot – on 0437 726 836, or leave a message on the answering machine (07) 3252 8629.
In addition to our school holiday program, we provide enthusiastic Young Embroiderers the opportunity to extend their embroidering skills during regular stitching days. Young Embroiderers will be working on their own projects, at their own pace, with guidance and support provided by an experienced embroiderers’ (with Blue Card).
As a certain level of independence will be required, the minimum age is 8 years. For more details see the Registration Form and the Class Schedule for dates of the classes.
